About the Event
Spring has officially sprung at Housing Units and we were so excited to be able to finally showcase our top five trends of the season!
Our teams have been extremely busy, working away behind the scenes, to bring our customers the most beautiful looks for 2022 and what better way to launch our concepts than by hosting a fabulous Spring Soiree.
In an effort to give our customers an insight into our new trends, we invited our local VIPs and home account influencers to see our fantastic collections for themselves and to spread the word to their amazing followers. This event was made even more special by celebrating 75 Years of Housing Units.
Here at Housing Units we really understand the importance of social media and for this reason, we enlisted the help of carefully handpicked influencers to share their styling ideas in the hope of inspiring others.
A Warm Welcome
The evening began in our charming Wickentree Restaurant, where our guests were treated to a selection of delectable cocktails created by our expert mixologists, along with delicious canapes, prepared and served by our wonderful in-house catering staff.
Guests were also treated to customised Housing Units ice creams from a traditional ice cream cart, perfectly marking the beginning of Spring and those warmer months ahead.
All the tasty treats were thoroughly enjoyed and made for some very insta worthy stories and posts.
Live Entertainment
David Brown, a fantastic local guitarist and vocalist, created a fun yet sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere with live music. The modern, acoustic-style playlist perfectly captured the ambience of the store and was the perfect addition to the elegant evening.
The talented, local musician was a clear hit with the guests and staff alike with his performance being shared on social media throughout the night.
An Exclusive Insight
Following on from the initial welcome, influencers were given a tour of the Housing Units store, focusing on our five show stopping trends for Spring. Natural Macchiato, Shagreen Luxe, Neo Minimalism, Maximalism and Outdoor Living take inspiration from around the globe, with key pieces from sofas to dining tables in the latest colourways, to suit every taste.
Guests were invited to browse a variety of products in both the Home Furnishing Store and Emporium buildings and peruse the latest styles and products, from coffee tables to bedroom furniture, across all departments.
The Main Event
Welcoming the new season and warmer weather with open arms, we marked the occasion by celebrating our Outdoor Living trend. Bespoke Housing Units cocktails were served from our very own Milan Charcoal Grey Rattan Garden Bar Set which included a special signature drink.
The bartenders were sure to keep our guests entertained whilst browsing the department and were featured on influencers videos and stories.
The Housing Units Experience
The finishing touch to a wonderful event was an exciting goodie bag for each guest, as a thank you for sharing their time at the store.
Here at Housing Units, we love to take care of the finer details and offer the highest quality service and guests were invited to select an item at each trend station. They were thrilled with their personalised gifts to take home.
