Our recent launch of Cafe 1947 has brought a new aspect to Housing Units with its modification and re-branding. The new menu still offers some of the classics our regular customers enjoyed. But now there is a more exciting twist to the menu with pizza and prosecco.
The opening of Cafe 1947 highlighted the teamwork which had gone into this exciting change to the Hollinwood Cafe. Having a member of staff cut the ribbon really shows how important HU employees are to create the experience you know and love!
As a store we recognise the importance of change and rejuvenating our cafe to create a more welcoming and exciting place to grab a quick bite to eat. Find our menu online so you can get an idea of the food options available. With breakfast options through to light lunches and salads there is something for everyone. Or if you’re having a quick pit stop to power you round the store our fresh cakes give the sugar kick-start you need.
The new foliage look is all nicely tied together with the wall panelling through to the seat colour. This theme really brings Cafe 1947 alive with its new makeover and expansion.

I thought the venue food and staff were delightful I had never before been to this side of HU but just decided to give it a try. It’s lovely Classy! A good place to see and be seen, enjoyed the visit very much! Feels so much more up market x
