A dining table is a centre piece for a room. A focal point. It’s important, and there’s a lot to consider when buying one. You must think about space, functionality and style. After all, it’s where your family will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner on a daily basis, and it’s a purchase that needs to endure a good few years of use!

We at Housing Units (HU) have a lot of love for our ceramic dining sets. As practical as they are beautiful, the ceramic table-top can handle high temperatures, meaning piping hot dishes can be placed directly onto it without causing any damage. In fact, space shuttles and other spacecraft use ceramic as heat shields, if that doesn’t make you appreciate just how heat resistant it can be then we’re not sure what else will! Super durable, ceramic is completely scratch proof nor will it dent or stain, meaning it can withstand even the most hectic of households!

Our top ceramic dining sets are…

Cosmo

The Cosmo dining set perfectly embodies the industrial interiors trend with a raw, fashionably stripped back look that’s so deliciously urban. Its dusky, charcoal grey finish and complementary dark metal legs bring a cutting-edge style to open-plan areas. Included with this set are two Cosmo dining chairs and a bench which are meticulously created from a velour fabric, they match the Cosmo dining table with a dusky, charcoal grey finish and dark metal legs. Table benches are currently highly sought after, the on-trend look for your dining room. The Cosmo dining table also extends from 160cm to 220cm to accommodate more guests in a space saving way.

Lotus

The Lotus dining set screams contemporary cool with its table-top constructed in a white ceramic featuring a clear glass top finish. Glass table tops are very on-trend at the moment, adding that designer feel. Metal legs complete this modern minimalist look. Accompanying the Lotus dining table are four Titus grey dining chairs upholstered in a luxurious grey fabric with chrome legs that are designed to give the illusion of a floating base. Just like the Cosmo, the Lotus is conscious of those who are hosting and will extend from 176cm to 216cm to accommodate more guests when necessary.
