Bathroom Design

Housing Units offer a bathroom design and fitting service, using state of the art computer aided design (CAD) and recommended plumbers and fitters. We have several teams of trusted fitters who will undertake the complete renovation from start to finish. Each installing team will undertake all the removal, plumbing, plastering and tiling to the high standards you would expect from Housing Units. When the installation is complete your Housing Units Designer will call to check over the installation to ensure your total satisfaction.

If you feel confident you have your own fitter that can undertake the work, we will still happily design the bathroom for you and even speak to your installer. Should your fitter have any questions about the design, once the order is placed, we will email both the 2D and 3D plans.

It is always difficult to establish the likely costs of any major project. Housing Units have prepared several examples of typical bathroom layouts which will give you a good indication of the likely costs before you book your design visit.

All after-sales issues are handled by our award winning Customer Services team who will quickly establish the nature of the problem and, if required, they will arrange for your original installer to call back and rectify the problem. If replacement parts are required they will organise for these to be delivered and refitted by the installer.

-State of the art computer aided design -Trusted and recommended plumbers and fitters

Price Matching

We aim to be as competitive as possible on all our prices whilst offering a fantastic service and shopping environment. In the unlikely event that you find the same item new at a lower price, we welcome the opportunity to match that price. This must be on an identical basis and be of comparable conditions such as delivery charges, service and guarantee.

Environmentally Responsible Retailing

As a responsible retailer, Housing Unit’s encourages recycling, and so we give you the option to recycle your old electrical items with us free of charge. We offer a “Take Back” scheme on a like for like basis. For example, if you buy a new toaster you can bring your old toaster into the store or if purchased online you can return it by post (you are responsible for postage costs). You have 28 days in which to return the old item back to us. To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

Please do not throw any electrical equipment in the bin. If we do not recycle electrical items they will end up in landfills where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and human health.

Housing Units have met the requirements placed on us by offering all customers buying new electrical equipment a free take back service as per the Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.

After-Sales Customer Service Consultant

In the event that you have a query with your purchase we will arrange for an experienced Customer Service Consultant to visit your home at a time to suit you. Backed up by a team of trained technicians, you can be confident that you will receive after-sales service like never before.

Interest Free Credit

Housing Units are able to offer our instore visitors the option of spreading the cost of their purchases through the use of interest free credit. This service is not currently available to customers purchasing online, but should you require this payment option we would be delighted to see you in the store to process an application for credit.

The Interest Free Credit options available are:

-10 months interest free credit on purchases over £1,000

-20 months interest free credit on purchases over £2,500

All payment options are subject to status and require an initial 25% deposit. Full details are available instore.

The interest free credit advertised (0% APR representative) is provided by our finance partners, licensed credit brokers Creation Consumer Finance Ltd, and is provided subject to their acceptance and terms and conditions.

Curtain Measuring

The design and fitting team at Housing Units are on hand to make sure you have the curtains and blinds you’ve always dreamed of. Visit our instore showroom to begin your journey with us and bring along any samples of fabric or photos or articles for inspiration. Once you have discussed your ideas through with our instore team, we can then arrange a date for an estimator to do a home visit. The estimator will conduct a full survey and discuss your specific requirements. Once the estimator has all the information they need, they will be able to provide you with a full costing for your new window treatment. If you are happy to proceed, you will be asked for a deposit to secure the order. When we receive your curtains or blinds from our suppliers, we will let you know and you can either collect them, or have them delivered at a small additional charge.

Housing Units only recommend the services of highly skilled installers who we have known and worked with for many years. We can arrange the installation of your purchase with our recommended fitters, or if you would prefer to use your own installer then we can still sell any of our window furnishings on a supply only basis.
